In accordance with the monitoring and collection of information on zoonoses directive Member States of the EU are obliged to collect data on the trends and sources of zoonoses and zoonotic agents in humans, animals, foodstuffs, and feedingstuffs as well as of the state of antimicrobial resistance and national foodborne outbreaks.
European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) is assigned to publish annual zoonoses country reports. Finland's reports since 2004 can be found on the EFSA website (click on the map image for Finland).
