Skin infection in the hoof area of dairy cattle – a new threat to dairy farming

Aims:

  • To assess the prevalence and risk factors of the disease in Finland
  • To analyse the existing bacteria in Finland using the sequencing of scraping and biopsy samples
  • To compile guidelines for controlling and preventing the disease on a farm level
