Composition requirements have been laid down for the following products and these names may only be used for products which comply with the requirements:
- sugar, white sugar
- extra white sugar
- sugar solution
- invert sugar solution
- invert sugar syrup
- glucose syrup
- dried glucose syrup
- glucose, grape sugar, dextrose, dextrose monohydrate
- glucose, grape sugar, dextrose, dextrose anhydrous
- fructose..
- There are also a few specific labelling requirements in the act.
